Here at MTCSS, we’re very proud to announce that we’ve been named as Employer Of The Year finalists in Herefordshire & Worcestershire’s Chamber Business Awards 2021!
Chamber Business Awards had this to say about our achievement: “The number of applications received this year exceeded expectations and were of an extremely high standard. Becoming a finalist in these awards is a huge achievement of which you should be very proud.”
Our ethos at MTCSS is to provide opportunities for our people to learn and develop in a format and at a speed that they want to. Whilst we recognise there is an element of compulsory training particularly in the case of Health and Safety the remainder they chose. Leading to reduced costs by having less people leave a course before the end and greater wellbeing as they don’t feel they have to do the course because “the company says we have to”.
Each and every one of us are involved in the development of everyone that works in MTCSS. The development is channelled in some areas by the Managing Director and HR Director but it is encouraged that the Managers work with their teams to decide what new learning is required and who is interested in learning it. Our people see that they are responsible for developing themselves.
To be announced as a finalist is a great achievement for the whole team here at MTCSS, and we’re hoping to win the whole thing!
