High-usage roll doors can be set up to open on footstep or vehicle approach and automatically close on a time switch or manual release. With rolling doors, you don’t need to remember to shut them – saving your business time, money, and energy. They’re large enough to be ideal for use with moving forklifts and mobile platforms, too.

Hinged Cold RoomDoors

Hinged cold room doors are a better option for pedestrian or pallet access for individual walk-in fridges, freezers, and cold rooms. They are a simple but effective way to improve cold retention – ideal for single-person access storage, such as food preparation areas. With an optional stainless steel finish and door blade, they’re easy to wash down and clean in areas where cleanliness is a top priority.

They can be used for almost any standard opening (up to 1500 mm). We can also supply double-hinged doors for wider openings (up to 3000 mm). They’re easy to fit and retrofit to standard storage spaces, not just huge warehouses.

Semi-Insulating Doors

Other Automatic Insulating Doors And Special Features

If your cold room doors are going to be used infrequently, another option is to install an insulated, manually-operated sliding door. These can be automated to proximity detection or activated with a push-button or pull-cord, and fitted with auto closers.

We can also fit door alarms. Alarms can be linked to an internal temperature sensor or timer, which sounds an alarm once a critical threshold is passed (as set by a control panel). The alarm steadily increases in volume, alerting employees to the need to shut the door immediately to stop the refrigeration units from malfunctioning or failing.
