MTCSS’ Products & Services
MTCSS provide design and builds for temperature-controlled rooms with varying specifications, including: walk-in chillers, walk-in freezers, blast freezers, ambient temperature-controlled rooms, clean rooms, humidity chambers and more.
MTCSS have access to a range of doors to suit a multitude of applications, temperatures and industries. From cold room doors for chillers / freezers and high-speed doors for pharmaceutical storage, to automated doors and atmospheric doors – we can offer a solution as part of temperature-controlled project or a door package.
Our expert team designs and engineers refrigeration and temperature-controlled systems for cold rooms and ambient areas, in addition to air conditioning systems and humidity control. We will design a bespoke temperature-controlled system to the customer’s requirements, keeping in mind the changing F-gas legislations and environmental impact.
In high risk and high spec temperature-controlled areas, business management systems can be vital to allow customers to monitor and manage the temperature of their rooms and building to ensure their products remain protected and closely monitor the energy usage – even when they aren’t there.
MTCSS’ Team & Expertise
Our team covers a multitude of skillsets with strong relationships to ensure we can deliver any project regardless of size or industry. Within MTCSS’ expert team we have Andy Cambridge, our Director of Contracts, who has worked within the temperature-controlled industry for over 32 years with a focus on the design of commercial and bespoke refrigeration engineering.
Darren Tomlinson, MTCSS’ Managing Director, has been in the cold storage industry for over 23 years developing his skills with hands on technical knowledge to design and deliver large scale bespoke cold store project for customers across the UK.
Nathan Mustoe, Project Manager, has worked within the industry for over 20 years to ensure all projects are delivered and executed to the highest standards possible, working closely with our clients to understand their exact requirements from project start to project completion.
MTCSS has a team of internal supervisors and engineers who specialise in Food and Drink Retail stores, in addition to a network of trusted and approved subcontractors across the UK. Our expert team also includes an internal Health & Safety Officer to ensure our processes, sites, suppliers and contractors are compliant and aware of up to date H&S systems and processes. In addition to an external Health & Safety Consultant.

Our current partners include MTH – who specialise in cold room door solutions; Nergeco doors – high speed doors at the forefront of R&D; Dynaco doors – sectional doors for a range of industries; Kingspan – insulated panel manufacturers and MTCSS also offer their own cold room panel system.
