Fitting doors to existing refrigerated display cabinets is a tool being rolled out across the UK to help reduce carbon emissions across supermarket estates. A study by Imperial College advised that installing doors on the refrigerated cabinets should be mandatory in order to help achieve energy reduction, particularly in higher temperatures.
