Modular cold room panels
Cam-lock panels are a type of insulated panel which fits together and is then locked in place using a cam-lock key to ensure optimum insulation is achieved. This cold room panel system means they are easier to build compared to bespoke cold rooms.
Why? Because modular cold room panels are cut to your exact size requirements and ready to build. Bespoke cold rooms often need to have the panel cut to size and the panels need to be sealed with silicone to ensure optimal insulation.
This makes the installation process for modular cold rooms simpler than a bespoke cold room installation.
When would I use a modular cold room?
Modular cold rooms are suited to a variety of applications and industries, they can be the perfect solution if you’re looking for:
- a small to medium capacity chiller or freezer cold room
- an approximate size room (as opposed to a very specific size!)
- a cold room to build yourself – the cam-lock system and ready to build structure makes it ideal for self builds
